arkansas.

i am in arkansas. yesterday it was sunny and warm and i walked outside in a dress for a couple of hours. today it is gloomy but we ran errands and went to the library so it was good even though there is no sun. now i am listening to slow and peaceful music and after i post this i am going to read a book by the window.

my neuroses did not stay behind in nebraska, but they are graciously keeping their wits about them and are kind enough not to run rampant with my brain chemicals for now. the sunlight is more direct here and i like it. even though i still feel present in my dark season, i feel calm inside. i do not take it for granted.
