re-june-vination

june will be my month of renewal. here are my june resolutions:

  • ride my bike more. i considered an "every day this month" resolution; i think i'm going to go for 30 minutes a day, for at least 20 days out of the month.
  • eat better. i've become a sugar-holic lately. i can't resist the giant chocolate chip cookies at work. they must go away.
  • regain my financial stability. i was doing really well there for a while, but then i missed a lot of work being sick, and got spendier right around the same time, so i'm pretty poor right now. no unnecessary spending in june. i'm thinking of going on a "no buying groceries for a month" kick, as co-op grocery-shopping is probably my biggest expense. i'll make an exception for oatmeal. maybe raisins too.
  • drink more water and less other things. i've cut coffee pretty much out of my routine, but i'm still a tea-aholic. and having 50 bottles of homebrew in your garage makes it overly easy to drink beer! less beer--more water.
  • this one's not so much a resolution as a double-whammy goal/interesting idea. i'd like to write more. i'd also like to blog more. maybe i will combine them. maybe i will make a new blog and switch to that one. (don't worry, i'll tell you.) maybe i will just write silly stories on napkins in coffee shops. there is a creative writing online contest which ends in 5 days that i would like to enter, but i have no good ideas yet.
these are my ideas for re-june-vination. also, i will find a good thing to give myself for a birthday present later this month. i'll be 25 and that's kind of a big deal, right? last year i gave myself a tattoo, but i can't afford another tat just yet (though i have one all picked out). nose ring? hmm... i'm travelling to portland in august so maybe that'll just have to count as my birthday gift...

I think it should be: re-june-ivation

But that's just me :)

but it's supposed to be like "rejuvenation," note like "renovation." yours makes me think of renovating something.

I like that idea. Maybe I should make some of my own re-june-vinations.

lol but Ben is just switching up the consonants... you already used the n in June, so now you have to use the v that you took out. :) Fun way of saying rejuvenation though.
