HAPPY GROUNDHOG'S DAY!
The honorable Punxsutawney Phil has predicted, sadly, six more weeks of winter. Upon his removal from his stump early this morning on Gobblers Knob, it was decreed, "I do not like this likeness of me. It is my shadow I see. Six more weeks of mild winter there will be." It is unknown whether the use of the word "mild" is literal or poetic liscence in the form of a homeric epithet. While Phil's news is disheartening, celebration still abounds in Punxy today. After all, it is Groundhog Day, and in just three short days, the Steelers will be playing in the Super Bowl. What's six more weeks next to that?
