10. Punxsutawney Phil will be lonely without you. You can visit him at his home in the Library. You can attend the not-to-be-missed summer Groundhog Festival. You can even sign his guestbook. Phil and I are personal friends--he's told me his summer won't be complete without you.


9. Laurel Lake Camp is the only place that Spiderman will be appearing in the form of Jared Gibson. The man's talents are many--last summer he also graced us with his presence in the form of a clown and a little guy named Zach (alias: Mr. Zuccini). All of the above roles, and many other faces of Mr. Gibson, are worth the trip to little Rossiter, PA; however, Spidey is the most priceless and rare of them all. An exclusive attraction not to be missed!



8. I happen to have an inside track on the programming being planned for this summer, and from what I hear, it sounds pretty promising. What would you do without a good Indian play, Rodeo, or happenin' Teen Banquet? More importantly, will you really be complete without a powerful portrayal of Christ's love for you every Friday night? Can you stand to not be a part of the blessing that comes from showing that to our kids?



7. A picture is worth a thousand words. In this case, two thousand. Oh, and the dynamic duo is planning on three weeks this summer. ;)


6. I know of no other place where you can experience an ice cream trough. Doesn't the thought of shoving your face in that sticky coldness just make you long for a summer at Laurel Lake Camp? Whether you're the spoon-and-bowl type (frowned upon as that may be) or the head-to-toe-ice-cream-war type, we have a trough for you.


5. The Western Wilds of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania hold numerous natural treasures. How better to discover the glory of God than through His nature? While we joke that our beloved Laurel Lake is really more like Laurel Puddle, it's quite beautiful with the morning sun on the water, the mountain mist rising into the air, and the birds singing you awake. An experience like none I've found anywhere else.


4. The faces are priceless. They'll burn themselves in your memory, and in your sleep, you'll dream of the kids who you've loved and who've loved you, that you've showed Jesus and who've shown Him to you. You'll dream of the smiles, the laughter, and the tears, and ultimately, of the faces of kids who know Jesus now because you were here.


3. The relationships you make at Laurel Lake Camp are unlike any others. You become family with the people you share these experiences with. Losing them is like losing a part of your heart, but loving them is reflective of God's love. You bring them with you in your heart and the fun, laughter, tears, work, ministry, prayers, and closeness never leave you.


2. Worship is a way of life at Laurel Lake. Not only do we enjoy worshipping together at praise and worship time, campfire, and cabin worships, but we praise our Jesus by living our love for him in everything we do throughout the day. You'll never worship quite the same as you do at Laurel Lake Camp.
