My Happy Place
Several things have come into my life in the past twenty-four hours which bring me extreme happiness. They are, in no particular order:
Going to Bible Study at Pastor Keith and Kari Jacobson's house tonight.
Procuring a coveted box of bulgur wheat tonight, at very long last, from the local HyVee (which is a good enough grocery store to become my new Lincoln favorite. Definately worth the drive). Bulgur wheat, for those of you who do not know, is probably my favorite food. Can't wait for breakfast--yummy!
Going running for 35 minutes in beautiful 48 degree weather and sunshine this afternoon. And on top of it, discovering that while I've lost speed, my four-month hiatus from the sport hasn't totally killed my endurance.
Having a whole unadulterated hour of Jesus time last night, complete with a John Eldredge book ("Dare to Desire," if you wanted to know), my Bible, and some good David Crowder worship tunes.
But my number one favorite thing of the last twenty four joyful hours:
Purchasing an 8th row ticket to see David Crowder*Band and Third Day in concert for the Friday night after spring break. (!!!) DC*B is my favorite band ever, and Third Day ain't half bad either.
About the only thing that could have made me happier would be if I were going home for spring break tomorrow instead of in a couple of weeks. That or going horsebackriding in the sunshine. Or the first day of camp. But all in all, it was the best 24 hours I've had in a good long time.

What? You're not going home for spring break? Are you going to TX?
Horseback riding sounds like a winner to me right now.. I would do just about anything just to feel the burst of energy, and excitement of being on a horse.The feeling of freedom and being invinsible. The speed and seeing all that nature holds, the feel of the horse's sway and the click of their hooves and the smell of country air mixed in with the smell of a barn! oh yes!!! How i long to be in the camp barn, for its the only oppurtunity to ride all year.. :(
