Can you be patriotic and not feel that America is necessarily better than other countries? Why?

Yep. I'm patriotic, and I think that Canada is the best country in the world. :)
But seriously, yes. You can be proud of what your nation has to offer, while recognizing that it's not perfect, and that other nations have equally great things to offer. Kind of like people. In fact, I often think of countries as if they we're people, and for me, it puts things in perspective.
